Wrinkles Collagen and Beauty

Most definitely wrinkles don’t represent a sign of beauty unless we are talking about my French bulldog and his peers. We are born with wrinkled skin and, in spite of the fact that babies are cute, wrinkles don’t sit so well on our skin from the time we reach puberty until our last breath.
I teach Botulinum toxin injections and I learned from my customers, in our modern industry wrinkles are a sign of weakness. Therefore, we powered up with creams, lotions, toxins, lasers and knives to defeat them.
Collagen on the other hand keeps our skin strong, firm and creates a fake sensation of comfort and confidence. Collagen is a structural protein build up from amino acids and peptides and abundant in the first 3 decades of our lives in skin, conjunctiva, eyes, cartilage, bones. Bone recession in women due to lack of estrogens is an important cause of jowls, marionette lines and dark circles under the eyes. While most deny their inner fight against wrinkles and power up conversations on ageing gracefully, others are creative, assertive and relentless in finding the Fountain of Youth, of course wrinkle Free.
We have many types of collagen sustaining our youth and beauty and many more skin care products that claim to be the one and only Fountain of Youth. After a decade of skin care research, experimenting hands on state of the art “anti-aging and anti-wrinkle" equipment, I dare say we should hope and look for it, only to better understand the power we carry within our wrinkles.
I love Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Botox, Laser treatments and taking care of one’s skin does not mean by any stretch we obsess in the anti-wrinkle(s) or anti-aging fight. We are paying attention to detail and beauty as year by year gets defined inside of us, maintaining the strength of our character along with the collagen strength. And Beauty is variable from culture to culture, from individual to individual and from religion to religion. But wrinkles collagen and beauty will always form a perfect equilateral triangle across continents. So, let’s not obsess about the anti-aging cure but learn how to embrace beauty, recreate beauty where needed and refine beauty when questioned.
